TORQUE RELEASE TECHNIQUE
At Anchor Family Chiropractic, we are strongly dedicated to getting to the root cause of your family's health concerns and addressing that, rather than superficial symptoms. Dr. Katie uses Torque Release Technique (TRT) to do this. TRT is a “non-manipulative” adjustment, which means there is no popping or twisting required.
TRT adjustments use a hand-held instrument called an Integrator. The Integrator reproduces the movements of the classic hands-on chiropractic method, at a speed of 1/10,000th of a second. This method allows your nervous system to better integrate, understand, and process new corrective information. This information is then used by your body to heal. Because your nervous system is processing better after a TRT adjustment, your spinal corrections do not stop once you get off the table. They occur as you live your daily life.
You may notice that you hear a click or feel movement in your spine later on the same day after the Torque Release adjustment. That is your body aligning and correcting its own subluxations. TRT allows your body to make its own corrections and increase healing with ongoing care. Because these chiropractic corrections are not limited to just the areas of pain and other symptoms, the healing experience is typically deeper in all areas of the body.
TRT releases tension at the spinal cord by correcting subluxations of spinal bones.
