Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept Medicare?

Unfortunately, we cannot see anyone with Medicare unless they are wellness patients with no active complaints. If you have Medicare and are seeking care for a specific condition or symptom, we would not be able to see you, but we would be happy to help you find the care you are looking for. Feel free to give us a call at 678-835-9828.

INSURANCE & PAYMENT

Do you take my insurance?

We offer flexible payment options and accept HSA/FSA cards, cash, check, credit cards, and CareCredit. While we don’t participate in insurance networks, this means we can focus 100% on creating the best care plan for YOU without insurance company restrictions on your treatment. We’re happy to provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

How much is an adjustment?

Our adjustments range from $43-$60 depending on what phase of care is appropriate for you. However, we don’t charge per visit. We establish a plan of care and provide payment options, because we believe quality care is about correcting problems and reaching your health goals— not just temporary relief.

After your initial evaluation, we’ll make recommendations based on your unique needs. This approach allows us to focus on getting you real results rather than just quick fixes.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, HSA cards, and CareCredit.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! We’re honored to serve those who serve our community. We offer special discounts for public servants (police, firefighters, first responders), active military and veterans, teachers and educators, and preachers and ministry leaders. Ask our front desk team about these discounts when scheduling your appointment.

GETTING STARTED

How do I schedule an appointment?

Use this link to pre-pay for your appointment and take advantage of the largest savings ($79, instead of $99). You can also call our office directly at 678-835-9828.

Do you accept walk-ins?

No, you’ll need to schedule an appointment in advance.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your day-one appointment includes a thorough consultation, examination, and review of your health history. We’ll discuss your health goals and perform an exam, which may include x-rays and an assessment of your nervous system. Because we want to know exactly what’s causing your concerns, we take time to carefully analyze all the information we gather rather than rushing directly into treatment. We will schedule a follow-up visit shortly after to review our findings and present our recommendations.

What should I wear to my appointment?

There are no strict dress code requirements, but we recommend avoiding dresses since you may need to wear a gown during certain exam procedures.

Do you do x-rays? Why?

Yes, when necessary. We believe “to see is to know, and to not see is to guess.” X-rays allow us to see exactly what’s happening with your spine so we can provide the most specific and effective care possible.

ABOUT OUR APPROACH

How do you adjust? Is it twisting, popping, and cracking?

While we do have the skills to adjust that way when appropriate, we primarily use Torque Release Technique—a gentle, low-force approach that’s comfortable for most ages. We also have extensive training in pediatric adjusting techniques, Webster technique for pregnancy, and cranial adjusting techniques. We’ll discuss which approach is best for you during your consultation.

What is Torque Release Technique?

Torque Release Technique (TRT) is a gentle, precise chiropractic method that uses light touches to specific points along the spine to release tension and restore proper nervous system function. Unlike traditional manual adjustments, TRT uses an instrument called an Integrator that delivers a consistent, low-force adjustment. This technique is based on extensive research

and is particularly well-suited for patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors, because of its gentle nature.

What makes you different from other chiropractors?

Our practice stands out in three key ways: how thorough we are in our examination and analysis process, the advanced technology we use for assessment and adjustments, and our specialized training in additional techniques like pediatric care, Webster technique for pregnancy, and cranial work. We don’t just adjust and send you on your way—we take time to truly understand what’s happening in your body.

Is chiropractic safe? Will it hurt?

Chiropractic is safe, and we add an extra layer of safety by using gentle but specific techniques that lower the risk of unwanted outcomes. The adjustments generally do not hurt, but some soreness is expected after adjustments as bones start moving and muscles that attach to those bones are pulled and stretched in different ways. This is a normal part of the healing process.

TREATMENT & RESULTS

How many adjustments will I need?

This depends on several factors unique to you: the severity of your condition, how long it’s been going on, and our findings from your examination, x-rays, and nerve assessment procedures. After your initial appointment, we’ll create a personalized care plan with our recommendations and discuss what to expect for your specific situation.

How long will it take to see results?

That varies from person to person. We have checkpoints called reassessments approximately once per month to make sure you are progressing at the rate we anticipated. This allows us to monitor your improvement and adjust your care plan as needed.

Can I just come in when I’m hurting, or do I have to commit to a plan?

In a wellness model, which is what our practice is built on, we believe that in order to get to the root of a problem and truly fix it, consistency is key. If you use chiropractic just when you’re hurting, you’re treating it like Tylenol or Aleve—only addressing the symptoms. If symptom relief rather than correction is your goal, we may not be the best fit for you.

Will I have to keep coming forever?

It is our desire for chiropractic to become something you do as part of your wellness routine—just like going to the gym or brushing your teeth. Spinal health is vitally important

because it’s intimately linked to the health of your nervous system, and you only get one spine. Many of our patients choose to continue with wellness care because they feel better and want to maintain their health long-term.

What if I’ve tried chiropractic before and it didn’t work?

We would encourage you to try our different approach. Our methods have helped many people who plateaued or didn’t get the results they were looking for with “old school chiropractic.” Our focus on thorough analysis, advanced technology, and specialized techniques may be exactly what you need.

WHO WE CARE FOR

Do you see children? What ages do you treat?

Yes! We specialize in pediatrics and prenatal care. We serve lots of children of all ages and with a variety of symptoms, conditions, and diagnoses. Our gentle techniques are perfect for even the smallest patients.

Can I come if I’m pregnant?

Absolutely! Our doctors are certified in Webster Technique, which is excellent at creating balance in the bones, muscles, and ligaments of the pelvic inlet. This can help make pregnancy more comfortable and may contribute to an easier birth experience.

I’m not in pain—can chiropractic still help me?

Yes! We are primarily a wellness practice—full of people who understand the importance of joint movement and nervous system balance toward their overall health. Prevention is the future of healthcare. You don’t have to wait until something is wrong to take care of your spine and nervous system.

What conditions do you treat?

We see people for a variety of conditions including headaches and migraines, anxiety, vertigo, sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel, numbness and tingling in hands, and many other health concerns. Because chiropractic focuses on nervous system function, it can impact many different aspects of your health.

WORKING WITH OTHER PROVIDERS

Can I see you while seeing other doctors?

Yes! We co-manage with other healthcare providers regularly. We believe in a team approach to your health and are happy to collaborate with your other doctors to give you the best care possible.
